Exploring the Basics of MPG

The Author of this new Political Philosophy would like to ask America: why does contemporary America think dualistically, as if our Democratic institutions is a choice between these last two administrations, either Republican or Democrat?? Between far Left Socialists and Communists or far Right MAGA Republicans?

One of the foundational problems of our current Constitutional framework is the electoral process. American politics has devolved power down to two main parties that DO NOT represent the multiple flavors that exist on the Left, Center and Right of the political spectrum. In order to have true Representation in America, it would require the reform of:

  • legal ballot access
  • HOW political contributions should be allocated
  • how votes are counted
  • when they are counted
  • who should count ballots
  • Congressional laws vs. citizen-initiated Referendums…

And on and on! If that wasn’t enough, we have a legal system that is not dynamic enough that creates or reforms the “Will of the People”. What I mean by this is that either we have laws on the books that are used by lawyers or judges to convict people of something outdated (think of the 3rd amendment or some inane local law) or lawyers who pore over the Books to find some precedent to justify their creation of some new diktat without public discussion!

The bottom line is this: even though we feel the deficiency of our 2 party system, what our system has genuinely devolved into is:

Elites vs. The rest of us (The People)

Without a new Constitutional framework, we have no way of reforming our way out of this binary system. This is where Multi-Polar Governance begins the fundamental change needed…

Levels of Government: A Hierarchy of Responsibility—local/county, regional, and federal

As you can see above, MPG begins the reformation by placing the Local government (using our present county boundaries) at the top of the Government pyramid and the Federal at the bottom, meaning — the Local government will be the highest level in American government; the Federal level will be at the bottom – equivalent to what the local government is in our present Order.

Note also that “Regional” is equivalent to our present day “State” level. In an MPG framework, States will become Regions to reflect the cultural desires of the People and to allow for flexible borders within our nation. (more on this in “Advanced Issues” section)

The next major change would be to give the power of Lawmaking and Enforcement to the American people, while retaining the wisdom of the Judiciary to determine the legality and ethics of each Party or Sect that will arise in the new system.

The Judiciary

To understand the proposed changes, it is necessary to understand how our current federal judges are elected (refer to image on the right below). Judges are not elected directly by the American People but is chosen by the President with the confirmation of the Senate. This was done to protect the judgments of the Judiciary from the mob of people who would change society on a whim. This has merit in our current system but since the new regime puts the citizens in power as Lawmaker and Enforcer, the existence of a federal Congress or President becomes null and void. This means that there will only be a Judiciary department to adjudicate the conflicts between the multiple Societies and Sects/Parties that shall arise. As a result, everyone will be choosing their local, regional, and Supreme Court members who will have to be mindful of the People’s Sacred beliefs instead of being out of touch with them (see left image below)
